As a graduate of ogle, thinking I know it all she knows better lol Sonia in unbelievably talented .she is a expert in hair styling, hairdressing, and colouring. She has a lot of patience and a very dedicated stylist and she Listens not just to respond but she actually takes the time to listen to your desire , she then explains her vision and makes it a reality , she add’s what you want and more, hence this is why I always come back, last session I had been feeling down and I wanted rogue streak’s with a trim. I ended up cutting more than a trim and my results were fantastic , it truly lifted my spirit and made a huge shift change in my day. She educates you on what products are needed and doesn’t just sell you something you don’t need. Here’s the most important part! Prior I would not go to any one other than my uncle, I was introduced by my uncle because he worked with her in the Same building a couple doors down,he considered her his mentor and friend and trusted her with anything, he passed away October of last year and right away she was there for me not just as a stylist but as a friend , so again things happen for a reason and I am really glad she has been put in my life. I never write reviews, not enough time with a baby and a job. So, for me to write a review means, she did a fantastic job. I have been to Sonia for a BB and later a color, cut, and style. I have been to several hairsylists in the past 1 1/2 years and they all messed up my hair. Finally, Sonia has fixed my hair. I will recommend her to all the girls on the base and my other friends. I just got a cut and Brazilian Blowout from Sonia. Her salon is inside a Salons by JC building, which houses a lot of beauty providers as independent operators. So, if you are looking for a big salon, with lots of chairs right next to each other, this isn't your place. Instead, Sonia has her own ~100 sq ft room that has the wash station and chair in one space, so it's more private than a regular salon. My cut and brazilian both turned out great, and Sonia was very accommodating on getting the length on my bangs just right. For the Brazilian, she explained all the steps and maintenance to make the most of the treatment. My only comment that is negative is that I purchased a Groupon that said I would get get new Zero+ Brazilian Blow Out, but I found out after she'd done the treatment that I'd actually gotten the regular one. I really wanted the Zero+ because it was formaldehyde free, so I was a bit annoyed to find out I'd gotten the original. If that's important to you, make sure you ask before the treatment. Otherwise, I would go here again, except I live in Chicago.
