SMASH has been an amazing experience for my son and our family. He is currently taking the breakdancing/hip hop with Coach Kevin and has grown so much in the time that he has been with SMASH & Coach Kevin. He has grown in his confidence and loves to go to class and be a part of this community. Breakdancing isn't something that is taught everywhere and we are glad that we found our place where our son can grow with something he is passionate about and learn the specific skills that are needed to be a part of the breakdancing world while also being encouraged to be himself. SMASH is a huge blessing to the San Antonio community. It is more affordable than most studios, and they offer scholarships as well as provide opportunities for instructors to grow their careers. I have had the privilege of watching the students grow in their skills and confidence from when they first begin. The staff cares very much about all the students, and they put their heart and soul into their instruction. Never had a bad experience there because everyone is always kind and accommodating. You will always feel welcome here.
I had the pleasure of going to the hip-hop cardio class and the VSF Naughty List event. I had such a great time! This studio is full of people who love to dance! It is a judgment free place that has vibrant music and welcoming faces. For someone my age, who loves to dance, it’s great to have somewhere to go where you can cut loose. I truly enjoyed the studio decor and warm atmosphere. What a great place to dance, burn some calories, and meet some genuinely great people!
