I think I ended up asking for something more along the lines of Swedish massage even though I booked us for a deep tissue couples massage. My husband and I really enjoyed it and will be sure to follow the instructions to hydrate to help clear any lactic acid from our wonderful massages. My therapist (Joy) was really responsive during the massage to my requests to increase or decrease pressure depending on what each area of my body could tolerate. For the people trying to tip massage therapists $3-$5, you need to google "What should I tip for a 1 hour massage" and remove your review. You sound like someone who has never had a massage or thins we live in a 1970s economy. Their massage technique is deep tissue and will work out kinks and knots. It was excellent. I paid $40 for the service and gave her a $20 tip. I'll be back.“
