I’ve been using Mark as my CPA for personal and corporate taxes for over 10 years, and he’s fantastic! He’s extremely knowledgeable, personable and yet, very reasonable! Best of all, when you need to talk to him, he’s easy to get on the phone and very prompt if he needs to call you back. I’d absolutely recommend him without hesitation!
I can sum up Mr. Wood's services with slow, unresponsive, and incompetent. Our regular guy retired a year ago and we needed someone new to do our taxes. I can sum up Mr. Wood's services with slow, unresponsive, and incompetent. Our regular guy retired a year ago and we needed someone new to do our taxes. As investors in commercial real estate it wasn't a super easy return, but it was one that any tax professional should be able to handle. Many of my emails and calls went unanswered. In fact, at one point I called his cell phone and he wanted to know how I got his number (he gave it to me). It took him months to get around to our return, then many more months to get it completed. After filing the the return in September, my wife and I were uneasy about the numbers and placement of certain figures, so we had another tax professional review the return. Within minutes of sitting down with her, she had already identified mistakes with impact in the 10's of thousands. She is working on filing amendments for us now, but in the meantime we're getting letters from the states where we filed correcting the returns as well, and sending bills for his mistakes. One star is being generous with Mr. Wood.
