Good Spirit Tai Chi Chuan is an excellent experience. I have been attending for five months. The instructor, Nameer Kirma, establishes a welcoming environment for the classes, which slowly build the flexibility, skills, and mindset to practice Tai Chi. The class encompasses both experienced and novice students, with each group working on building skills at their current level of training. Nameer helps each individual refine their movements with clear explanations and demonstrations. He is very patient!

At the invitation of a friend in March, I went one night to try out the Yang Style T'ai Chi Ch'uan class taught by Nameer. While I have never participated in any type of martial art, I have found Nameer's instruction to be thorough and complete. He has helped me go from grasshopper to Master - no, just kidding. But he has helped me grasp the understanding of the movements, the positions, and how it flows, by showing us the basic fundamentals and expanding from there. My balance has improved. My posture has improved. I find that I do not wish to miss a session. I feel that I have learned quite a bit and I have more to learn.

His adjustments are done with such thoughtfulness and respect. His words are encouraging. His pace is humbling. He balances challenge level and personal limitations well. I've only completed my first month, but I strongly suspect Tai Chi will be a lifelong joyful activity for me because of Nameer. I feel incredibly grateful to have found... read full review
