As a recently finished student, I would like to say this is a great school the way they teach is very understandable and they work very well with the students to ensure we know what we are doing and are not nervous when driving . They know how to make their students comfortable and overall learn the knowledge they need to be on our roads ! Mr .G was the instructor I drove with the most and it was a very calming learning experience! Very much recommend this school especially for beginners with no experience they know what they’re doing !! :)

I started driving a couple weeks back and this place is amazing. The driving instructors are great and have taught me so much I'm so little time. I'm on my 6th drive tomorrow and am excited to go back. I feel that with just a bit more practice I'd be able to take my driving test all thanks to the team at first gear.

Amazing driving school. I took my classes here a couple years back during Covid. The instructors are flawless in their explanations, written tests, and driving tests. They take you on actual roads and test you on every scenario. You learn valuable road skills through their mock tests. I was a total beginner. I had no idea how to drive. They guide you 100% through every step. They explain every road sign (even the rare/uncommon ones). Whether you're somewhat experienced or a complete beginner, First Gear is a great school. They teach you a "defensive" driving style in order to look out for other driver's mistakes and act accordingly.
