The first time Deidra did my silk press and trim I was happy with the service outside of her using so much heat the room was smoking and my natural curls had changed a bit. I’d just thought she had potential and I’d return next time and tell her to lower the heat. I brought my daughter in for large box braids, she quoted $150 but we decided to do a simple cornrow ponytail instead. We did a wash, trim and simple cornrow ponytail that took her about an hour to do. It was my mistake to not speak up when the price did not change when the style had changed but I also look for people to have integrity and do the right thing which she did not do. I let it go.
