It was very gratifying to take our ideas about a kitchen remodel to Ken Bobo and his company. They refined our design, then professionally built exactly what we wanted. This was a "down to the studs" remodel and it was done right in every respect. Each member of the Bobo team that we dealt with was a joy to work with. We had a wonderful experience with Bobo Custom Builders. Bobo removed a load baring post, scraped popcorn ceiling & painted, installed recessed lighting and more. We were very impressed with their attention to detail, clean work area (which is hard to do when removing popcorn ceiling), workmanship and communication. We worked very closely with Cody (Vice President), Robin (Project Design Coordinator) and John (Project Superintendent). They have a great team. Thank you for making this project seamless and an enjoyable experience. We will definitely use Bobo again in the future!

I recently moved from Phoenix to San Antonio. I purchased a 90 year old house in Alamo Heights with a guest house that was in desperate need of remodeling--sagging rafters, plumbing nightmare, odors, bad windows...you name it. It was a total gut job. I interviewed 3 builders and settled on one that I found on Home Advisor that was the lowest bidder. Huge mistake! After realizing the quality of his work wasn't going to meet my expectations, we agreed to part ways after a took a couple thousand dollar hit. I went back to Bobo Construction (who bid the job initially) because they impressed me upon first conversation and had been recommended by my realtor. Yes, Bobo was a bit more expensive, but they were worth every penny. They were very thorough up front, stayed on top of their subs, kept the area clean, and moved the project along beautifully. They did exactly what they said they'd do a bit more. The superintendent, Kerry, was an experienced superintendent that treated my wife and kids with the utmost of respect. He communicated well and was always very positive and helpful if I had questions. I've done many construction projects over the years (from a full custom home to landscaping to kitchen remodels) and this was hands down my best experience. Every single construction project has unforeseen challenges, but with Bobo Construction on the job I never had to lose a wink of sleep. We sailed through each city inspection. You will find cheaper contractors out there, but beware, you may very well pay more in the end because you'll be reworking mess ups and potentially get ripped off. It's tempting to go cheap, but a bad construction project can ruin you life for a year. Bobo is worth the small amount extra! It was a pleasure doing business with these guys and I give them my highest praise.
