Rosie the store manager was AMAZING. She took an hour of her time to help me with purchasing the Dyson air wrap. I don't know any manager of a store who has spent that much time and effort helping a costumer. She made it so much easier to problem solve while making the purchase and didn't leave my side till I walked out with the Dyson. She was kind and very helpful. This is what store managers should be like everywhere. I'm surprised she's not a higher up at ULTA. Her work benefits the company 100%.
My appointment was at 12:15, I was informed that my stylist Dylan was running a few minutes late and was offered water. I was okay with it because of course life happens. At 12:45 I was told that he should be arriving any minute. At 1:00 there was still no sign of him, manager apologized and informed me that another person would be starting on my makeup. Miranda was amazing! She asked about my favorite products, checked in to make sure I was liking the makeup, and was extremely friendly. This girl deserves a raise for having to pick up someone else's mess! At around 1:30 without any apology, Dylan walked in. He immediately started on my hair as Miranda was finishing my makeup. Once Miranda finished I was moved to Dylan's station. He was aggressive with my hair and once he finished curling it he brushed it all out causing my curls to fall apart. At this point, I had to be out in 15 minutes and just told him to slightly fix the curls. My experience with him was extremely frustrating and overall I hated my hair but the rest of the team saved the day. I luckily only had to pay for my hair they gave me a discount for the trouble. I wish there was an option to tip Miranda, sadly I didn't have cash and for some reason, she wasn't a choice of employees I could tip in the system. If it wasn't for the team and the discount I would have probably given them 1 star.
I usually go shopping for new makeup once a year, other than that i buy the same things. I was looking for a concealer and some moisturizer. I had a hard time finding my shade and i asked a girl near by who was stocking for some help, she was great but when she saw me a little confused about "under tones" she called over JJ to help with a color match. JJ did a wonderful job at assisting me. i tested out my concealer after using the moisturizer as soon as i got home and I'm obsessed it was exactly what i wanted! 10/10
