Great dental office! I was so fortunate that the office telephoned me this morning (as per my request the prior afternoon) to inform that they had an opening for a dental cleaning, otherwise it would have been September! I desperately needed to have a thorough cleaning as it had been over a year. Donya did a fabulous deep cleaning; she was very professional, knowledgeable, and fun to visit with. The dentist was very thorough and professional. The office was clean and didn't have any medical office odors. I will definitely make them my permanent dentist.
Oscar and his family did a few different works for me! One was shelving in an office closet, and another was the stunning table pictured here. This oak table is a family antique, that was previously re-done and made to be too tall. Couple that with my change in decor taste, I was ready for something new, and more functional!
It is over 100 years old, and an interesting wood cut, so it posed a unique challenge for Oscar when it came to staining! Once applied, the table and base took stain so differently, nothing would match. But Oscar saved the day with this awesome white-wash that was able to color correct the undertones in the old wood. I even had extension leafs that were a different kind of wood, and they match too!!! 3 different cuts of wood, from 3 totally different decades, all came together with Oscars expertise to make a stunning new dining table that my family will enjoy for hopefully another 100 years! ?? World class experience . Mrs. Roberta went above and beyond in so many ways; from finding contractors who did great work for cheap, to coming out of pocket for minor on the spot repairs. She made me feel like I was her only client and that my property was the only one she was concerned about. I was scared it would be a painful process as I was not local, but she handled it completely and totally for me while keeping me updated on a daily basis 10 out of 10. Highly recommend

I am brand new to Texas, Dr.Poole was recommended to me by a few people, so I went to check her out.. she's amazing! she listens, takes her time, addressed each one of my health concerns and she GENUINELY CARES!! I will continue to see her for my medical needs. The woman at the front desk was very nice, patient and made me feel comfortable and making an appt is a breeze..that was all a plus! I def recommend!!

Lanell has been cutting my hair since 2018 when we moved to Salado. She is the BEST w/o question. I have all kinds of challenges with my hair and she makes it look easy with a terrific end result. At 64 I have been to a few barber shops and stylist, etc. She's the bomb and the bonus is she is a nice person as well. Jim D

The results were near miraculous. My back spasms are a thing of the past and I have found acupuncture serves as a true path to pain relief and indeed a way to keep all body systems functioning optimally.
Salado Fitness is frequented more by the older population. But the atmosphere is relaxed and there is never a wait to use the equipment. It’s clean and organized and way cheaper than Anytime Fitness which is the only other gym in Salado and it’s locally owned. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone who is just looking to workout without having to deal with crowds.

For years I had been wanting to work out but I just didn’t know how to start. Coming here has been such a game changer! I see Abri, and she’s been so wonderful in helping me have more motivation to workout. For a while, I was worried about possibly injuring myself since I didn’t know how to handle gym equipment properly but having someone work with me, and show me how to handle equipment properly has really helped me push myself into a healthier lifestyle.

This place is great! I've been scheduling my eye exams with for the last 3 years and my wife recently went and enjoyed their service as well. Very clean building, caring and knowledgeable employees. They took the time to explain our eye results even my color blindness results. If you are looking for an optometrist then you need to come here. They are located right off the highway. My appointments are always around 30 minutes long. They are very respectful about being on time.
Great instruction especially the specialized weapon and firearms defensive training. I have taken 3 specialized firearm courses now pistol, rifle and my LTC course. I can't recommend this place enough for this highly specialized and high quality instruction.
Kerry is a miracle worker, I've been going on and off for years as I consistently hurt my back due to the work I do. While the process is not pleasant at the time, it produces real and immediate results. I have also gone to his associate Lucas, who is also amazing. My husband and I contracted with SVC to build a small barndominium to be our residence, and we couldn't be happier with the result. Their price was fair and reasonable and the work was excellent. They communicated closely with us throughout the construction from groundbreaking to final walk-through, and they made efforts to save money when possible without compromising quality. We were closely involved with decision-making and Ron didn't hesitate to make suggestions, nearly all of which we accepted. They stuck to schedule and budget as much as possible, although the end cost was slightly over budget due to unforeseen drainage problems that had to be resolved. We are now moved in and delighted with our new home. We heartily recommend SVC to anyone planning a large or small building project in the Salado area.
I was trying to find something last minute for my momma on Mother’s Day since our plans fell through. I found The Flower Shop on Google and called only 20 min before they closed. Owner took great care of me and had the most beautiful arrangement delivered to my mom about an hour later. She was absolutely thrilled and said the florist was quite an artist!
Susan is very knowledgeable about color and hair in general. I walked in knowing I wanted something different and with a picture of a color and cut that I thought I would like. She listened and told me she could do it but recommended a few changes and I walked out with something so much better. She is not just a stylist, she is an artist.

My first experience with Animal Medical of Salado was about five years ago when my oldest dog became sick during the weekend. All other vets were closed, and I found them by accident. I don't live near the clinic, so it was a bit of a haul to get there. Unfortunately, the veterinarian wasn't going to make it in time so the tech on her own called another clinic and worked out a deal so my dog could be seen. That was the day I found out my oldest had congestive heart failure. I transferred my animals to AMOS when their former vet became an assembly line of uncaring vets and techs that couldn't be bothered. I remembered how the tech at AMOS went above and beyond to set something up so I could start treatment for my dog.
Ever since I have been taking my three dogs and cat for anything and everything they need. I am not always the easiest person to deal with as my animals mean a lot to me so I can come off at times as a bit annoyed or demanding when they’re in pain. Dr. Santos and her staff [they have changed throughout the years] have always treated my animals and myself very well. Never judging when one of my dogs is nervous, or for my endless questions because I need to understand what is happening fully.
I had to put down my oldest in June 2024. Even though it was expected as aside from heart failure a tumor had started moving organs. I was allowed to grieve in the room with her for hours. Dr. Miller never rushed me, the techs came and sat with me and shared their stories of times with my dog as they loved her as their own. Unfortunately, now I must face the harsh realization that I will have to make that call sooner or later with my middle dog as he was DX with cancer. I know when I must swallow the pain of losing him to make that call for him, I wouldn't have it done anywhere else.
I have experienced the care of great veterinarians and staff, and I have had the misfortune of meeting badly trained or burnt-out veterinarians and staff. I know people aren’t perfect and at times can make mistakes. When mistakes can lead to animals dying or getting sicker quicker it makes you appreciate clinics like Animal Medical of Salado so much more.
Excellent service. Got right to the root of the problem. I'm so glad I managed to call even on Columbus Day and make an appointment the same day. Thank you so much.

Place might seem a bit intimidating but it's actually quite simple here. Pull up to the makeshift office in front of the scale. The man inside is nice and will not only tell you what to do and where to go, but also give you a map with your load information on it. Hop onto the scale, wait for a green light, then follow the map to the other side of the quarry where someone will meet you at the stop sign over there. Was in and out in less than an hour.
Had some repairs to the roof needed, called Luke and within an hour he was working on it. Absolutely great to work with!! Friendly, knows what they are doing and Reasonable. Explained a lot and gave me different options. I was very satisfied with the work and will be calling again next round. Thank You Luke!!

Love Salado Veterinary Hospital! The girls up front are always friendly and happy to help. I took my little Chihuahua mix in with severe allergies the vets there are very nice. Explain everything don’t try to sell you on anything. My dog literally had no hair he stunk and was very scaly. They still loved him anyway they fixed him up. His hair is grown back. He’s like his old self again absolutely love this place! Will continue to take all my animals there. Thank you Salado Vet veterinary Hospital for all you do absolutely the best!
