Total rip off. They will give you a quote. if it takes them 5 mins to fix the issue, you are still paying the $1000s on the quote. If it takes them more what they anticipated, they will add until you might need to file bankruptcy. When you question this scam, they will get very aggressive and give you a lecture of lies about the difference bt T&M and a bid. Still total BS. At the end, if you choose to hire them, your MIN is the quote and no max to what you could pay. Im sure they are honest people out there who are worth it hiring.

If you're looking for incompetence in a company, then Boyd Electric should be your choice. Worst electricians ever. Had some work done and had to have a "Real" electrician come out and fix their work. They were rude and would not admit they screwed up. There's a reason they only have 13 reviews - most people are smart enough to avoid them (unlike me apparently). Stay far away. *Bonus* - the other day I saw one of their vehicles driving like a maniac, weaving in and out of traffic. *Avoid at all costs*

We have used Boyd on three different occasions. The last time we were overcharged in the amount of hours they worked. We were charged 8 hours for two workers and part of that was overtime, even though they were here before overtime even began. The total amount of hours that should have been charged was 4 for two workers, not 8 hours. This company starts charging overtime at 3:30, which doubles their normal rate. If they arrive at 2:00pm and are work until 4:00pm, they will charge you overtime for the entire time they were there. Be cautious if you use them and don't pay for anything until you've seen the charges.
