So when you called his company, what do you think is locally owned, etc. it transfer you over to an name of a different air conditioning company which is very strange so I didn't even use them. I can't trust anyone they can't even let me know what's going on.
I had a Gold Service visit, not sure if Gold is accurate? Chris Hull was very professional and shared filter replacement period Information.I asked about the dripping sound coming from the unit, which is caused by an uninsulated main pipe, which I was not given a way to fix or did he fix it. I needed a new knob for my unit access panel (caused by a bent access panel door, never replaced when they installed the unit in 2020 as I had requested. The panel was somewhat bent flat). The Customer Service staff connected with me to provide an estimate on the knob. Online @Supplyhouse.com the part cost $1.60, Stan's said they can replace it for $132.00.I'll stop there, as that's the end all to be all. Just sayin'.
We've had good experiences with Stan's in the past but my experience this week makes me very reluctant to rely on them in the future. I scheduled an appointment with a plumber for Friday afternoon, and they called the day before to say that they had to reschedule me for Saturday. I'd already rearranged my work schedule so that I could meet them on Friday, so I shuffled my schedule AGAIN to accommodate Saturday. Today (Friday morning) I received a message that they would not be able to honor my appointment on Saturday and had to reschedule me again. At that point, I had no confidence in their follow through so I'm having to contact more plumbers and start the process over again. I can understand rescheduling once but twice? If you're having to cancel appointments because technicians are calling in, then maybe you need to schedule fewer appointments so that you can honor the appointments you've already made. I had to give a credit card number to secure the original appointment, so you can bet that they'd charge me if I flaked out at the last minute. Why then is it acceptable for them to waste MY time?
