“Coming from a former Palm Beach Tan employee and customer, Glo Tanning far exceeds PBT with their services and pricing. I have unlimited access to all tanning beds, spray booths, and spa services on a $100/month family plan that I share with my mom (that’s only $50 each!). I’m obsessed with the skin wellness hydration cocoon thing, it leaves my skin extremely hydrated and soft. If you’re considering visiting Glo, I highly recommend you do it!

I did deduct one star from my rating though because I think this location is just too small for the amount of business they get. I’ve visited the Rockwall location on multiple occasions at various times of the day (before noon, afternoon, during lunch, late at night) and there has been a significant wait for any service with a packed lobby every time. The employees are always very welcoming and nice, but they definitely seem overwhelmed and disorganized most of the time. No one seems to know who’s cleaning the beds, who’s checking people in and managing the wait queue, or who’s covering new sign ups/sales. I’ve had to tell one girl what services I’m wanting to do when I check in, wait, have another girl ask me what I’m waiting for, wait some more, then have a third girl ask me yet again what I’m waiting for. Because of this disorganization, there has been more times than not that a room is missing some of the extras they provide…either a robe, black bag for your clothes, a towel, or multiple items. I did the cocoon wellness bed today for the full 20 minutes (it can get up to 118’) and realized I had no towel to dry off with when I got out.

As a former manager of a tanning salon, I think assigning specific duties to each employee would help tremendously, but I know this salon is new and they’re likely just trying to gain their footing so I’m more than happy to extend them some grace. It’s great they’re getting the amount of business that they are and I’m hopeful that eventually they’ll be able to work out all the kinks. Don’t let this deter you from joining the Glo Gang though…DO IT!“
