I have been taking lessons from Jason for a little over a year now and he is amazing! He strives to not only teach you how to play, but listen to music. He makes it a goal for his students to be able to decipher songs and know what the chords could be before having to rely on google (a very useful skill for musicians). If you ever have a specific song you have always wanted to learn, Jason can help you achieve it. He also makes learning music theory interesting! At the end of each lesson I feel very satisfied with new or improved knowledge about guitar.

My daughter and I have been attending lessons with Jason for 6 months now. She had been attending lessons for a couple of years at other area teaching locations and had become a bit more proficient than a ‘beginner’. Jason definitely took her knowledge to the next level. His patience teaching and his focusing on basics and theory, rather than just “what song do you want to play” have been instrumental in getting her playing (and mine) to grow while not being tedious or causing us to lose interest.Furthermore, your fee pays for his TIME not per person he is teaching. My son took lessons from Jason and was not only playing better but learning the music theory behind the fun. He couldn't attend a lesson one week and my wife suggested that I fill in because we had already paid for it. I played a bit when I was younger and thought this was an intriguing idea. I've been taking lessons ever since and have not stopped. I can now play many songs and styles and actually know what I am doing. My improvisational abilities have improved immensely and I continue to refine my skills. I would recommend this instructor for a beginner, intermediate, or advanced player. If you are looking for a REAL teacher, a full time professional with a passion for teaching; This is the guy!!
