The staff was wonderful. The funeral was pre-arranged and it made things so much easier for our family. They were prompt in picking up and transporting my mom to the funeral home. They communicated with me about all the details of the service and answered all my questions. They have a new facility with a beautiful chapel and a wonderful space with a kitchen for gathering and dining after the service. We had Jason's cater and it was great.
My mother, father-n-law, and a host of friends are buried here. The reason for 3 stars is that the last time I got to go by has been a little over a year ago. So, with that being said, they may have made improvements to the grounds. Otherwise, the roads in there are in poor condition, headstones are sinking in the ground, and overall the landscape was pretty shabby. I worked for Connally-Compton back in the mid 70's, so I used to go out here several times a week. It used to be well kept back in those days.
Two weeks ago both of my parents passed away 72 hours within one another. Two minutes after the corner wheeled my mother out of her room at hospice I am mediately received a phone call I was comforting and it was exactly who I needed to speak to thank you so much to the staff here at Waco Memorial. Camie did an excellent job she walked me through every step from picking up my parents bodies to getting them dressed to helping me do her hair and make up process putting the suit on my father place in their jewelry where they wanted it. To the funeral to the cemetery to the payment details thank you so much! I highly recommend Waco Memorial.
