Customer service is ridiculous. So much is locked up now, no one has a key to get anything in electronics. Electronics closes at 10pm, but nothing posted about it nor do they stay there until 10pm. Customer service closes at 11pm, but by 10pm desk was closed. And team lead stated they haven't seen a manager in hours.
I live in Royse City and have two Walmarts one off of i30 and the other in Wylie that are way closer to my house and I've never driven a diesel vehicle in my life. Despite all that the manager refuse to help me with an unauthorized charge to my prepaid debit card for a $150 dollar purchase for diesel fuel that I would have no reason to purchase let alone at that location. DasherDirect who issues the card was a lot more helpful since Walmart employees like to screw around and do nothing.
Walmart For Black Friday deals I ordered four new tires for pick up at the Princeton location in Texas. So I got an email saying that they are ready for pick up so I scheduled for installation that following Saturday. When I arrived that Saturday, I was told that my tires were not here even though my email stated that they were. The manager checked the status on my order and saw that they were in route to delivery that same day so he told me to come back either the next day and wait for another email confirmation on delivery, so I did. Got another email on Monday saying that it was delivered and ready for pick up. I scheduled again that Saturday of that week for them to put them on. Once they were finished I saw that only three tires were put on out of the four so I ordered, so I asked where is the fourth tire? They said "it did not ship"and I said OK so I paid for the four tires and 4 installation today so when the fourth tire gets here and gets installed, I don't have to pay for that installation. They agreed. I received another email saying that the tire came in and was ready for pick up so I went in, took off work and the clerk and his manager told me that they had the tire and my car would be done in an hour or so. I got a call back from the mechanic saying I ordered the wrong tire because the one they got in stock was the wrong tire. Hershey said that it was our fault thay we ordered the wrong tire even though the Walmart app has all 4 of the correct tires and they don't know where that tire is. With further explanation, I told them all my confirmation and purchase history. It shows all four tires that are all the same so I was told to call customer service. I called customer service and they sent me to the 1 800 number. I was on the phone with the 1 800 number and I was told for me to call another department and that department told me to call the store. So I was back to calling the store's customer service again, they told me to call the online order department and I got right back to customer service again just to get routed back to the shop. The whole phone call interactions between getting transferred and calling back and getting hung up on wasted about three hours of my day was distasteful.I also had to pay full price for the tire instead of the $75 deal I got during Black Friday. I believe I deserved at least a price match that I originally paid for because of this error on their end since I did not order the wrong tires, but this experience was an extremely poor. The front clerks were pretty nice but their manager was not understanding nor helpful. The managers had no customer service skills. Nobody was able to give me a clear answer on the status of transit. In this whole waiting, redirection and dishonesty game they played I was nothing but patient and understanding. Also I was not informed the first time about the tire warranties being an option between $18 for the service and $28 but the second time I came in I had a choice to choose between those two services which is very deceiving and I will not be using Walmart vehicle services for the foreseeable future and I also do not recommend using their auto services.
