Where the time for intake was minimal, (under 30-45 minutes) and over 24 hours later, still waiting for the transport to Beaumont Hospital, night shift staff has a sour disposition with a very sarcastic attitude towards the patients (the people who are in pain and/or sick). The lack of communication is tremendous and it’s like they expect you to know what is going on (is this not the reason for showing up to an emergency care, because you don’t know).
This is my go to for any of my children’s emergency needs. I brought my 7 yr old daughter today due to a fall and cut on her head. Everyone was very helpful and made my daughter feel comfortable which relieved her fear. The nurses came in constantly to check on her and the Doctor was very polite. The only problem is the wait.
Was referred by wheelchair from urgent care next door for testing for meningitis, west nile, etc. ER doctor laughed and said he would just give me IV fluids. If I would've known they were going to run zero tests after having a migraine for 6 days, I wouldn't have let the urgent care roll me into this place to waste my time and money. He told me to take tylenol and ibuprofen and come back if I still have a migraine at day 14. If only I had the strength to laugh back at his ridiculous protocol.
I WILL be suing this facility if I receive a bill for the fluids I could've paid $30 for at my doctor. I was brought in for TESTING ONLY A HOSPITAL COULD... read full review
