Our HVAC unit completely shut down on Thursday evening. We have a 7 week old baby and the weather said it was going to be 87 degrees by Saturday. Clark SerVice Company called first thing Friday morning with an ETA. They then worked until the evening on Friday to ensure we had a brand new unit And that it was working. They knew our situation and refused to let us suffer. They were kind, personable and we're just so grateful. Can't thank them enough for their hard work!
Had a great experience with David, Eric and the rest of the crew that came over. David worked with my schedule and explained everything to me in detail. I don't recall everyone's name but Eric and his partner helped me very quickly with an issue I had roughly 2 weeks after install. I highly recommend, and I love supporting local businesses versus the big guys. Hoping my HVAC works great for years to come.
So glad I gave them a call. Our A/C unit is getting old and several weeks ago I called another company to come check it out. They pumped in so extra freon and then told me that I would need a complete new system and would come back to go over the options. I asked if a sealant would be an option and they shot it down. This other company never followed up and I'm glad they did not. After 1 week the unit was running weak again so I called Clark Service Company. They sent a technician out right away, about 2 hours later he showed up. First thing he did was clean my outside unit. Then he tested it and confirmed that it was low again. David (the owner) had suggested trying a sealant and the technician put it in along with the freon. Three weeks later and it is still running as cold as day one. I have a thermometer in the master bedroom return just to keep track of performance and it has been rock solid for 3+ weeks now. I am not saying that the unit is fixed long term, but so far it is holding the temps perfectly and this is during the hot summer of 2022! Yes - my system is older, but the sealant is working and I will watch it daily. If it starts to drift again I'll replace it. But as David stated over the phone "let's hope you get a couple more years out of it". WOW - how refreshing (pardon the pun) - a man who is not trying to force me into a new system and wants to fix the unit if at all possible. We also discussed other options besides a full system replacement - but I will cross that bridge when I come to it. For now - David's suggestion is working great! He's the gent I will call from now on. Highly recommended - cheers!
