Cindy Summers is an excellent chiropractor. She fit me in to her schedule as soon as she could considering I’ve been in a lot of pain in the past couple of months. She was very thorough in her examination, takes her time to perform necessary tests and not only listens to every little thing, but carefully takes notes. I went in there with a kinked neck that had gotten so bad I had limited mobility when I turned in either direction or bent over to pick something up. At 35 years old, this is not ok. I told her that ever since I can remember I’ve always carried my anxiety/stress in my upper back and neck area which is why I had seen other chiros for the past 10 years. Other massage places have told me I am so knotted up I should be getting massages weekly. She is the first chiro to suggest that perhaps my stress/anxiety is coming from the muscle tightness around my neck/upper back and told me that we need to get in there for a myofacial. She touched parts of my neck/back and spine that were so tender to the touch it felt like they were bruised. I thought it was really cool that she touched those areas and then adjusted each section of my spine based on that feedback. Going home I felt sore but could immediately feel the difference in my neck mobility. The following day I felt MUCH better. That was only after my first visit. I am SO happy to have found her. She has given me hope that perhaps I might be able to feel more relaxed in the months ahead. Can’t wait to continue working with her 💕
