We would recommend Rick Bari of Palacios Air Repair for any of your heating and cooling needs. His team installed a new Lenox system replacing a very old unit. They replaced the entire system including indoor furnace, outdoor compressor, and all of the ductwork in the attic. Rick also recommended four additional vents. The bathroom didn’t have any plus one in the laundry room and a second in the large living room. All of the old ducts and vents had to be removed which they did carefully to keep from making a mess in our home. Even to the point of one man holding a box under a vent that was being replaced while another team member replaced it from the attic - so that debris would not land on the floor or furniture. This attention to detail was carried out through the entire process of installing a new HVAC system. The crew was efficient with each performing his job in his area of expertise and working as a team anticipating needs as they occurred. There was no hanging around waiting for direction; everyone knew their job and worked accordingly. Rick’s project manager was excellent and from what we could tell, each of the other technicians respected him. Throughout the process, we had questions which were answered promptly and thoroughly with a friendly smile. Several months later: 2024-01-19 We would like to thank Rick Bari of Palacios Air Repair for his prompt attention to our service call. He had taken his crew to lunch when the call came in. Rather than wait until everyone had finished their meal, Rick came right over to our home to determine if the problem was user error regarding the thermostat or if there was an issue with the furnace itself. After investigating and testing various possibilities, he realized it was a faulty thermostat which he replaced immediately. Rick tested a couple more times to be sure he had fixed the problem. What a relief that during the coldest part of the year, Rick was able to get our HVAC system running properly again. We would recommend Rick and his team for your heating and cooling needs.
