About Odessa Animal Shelter
The Odessa Animal Shelter, a division of the Odessa Police Department, is a temporary shelter for strays, lost, found, and quarantined dogs and cats. The shelter provides animal adoption services, cares for stray and unwanted animals, and offers education on responsible pet ownership and zoonotic disease prevention. Visitors can adopt or reclaim animals by visiting the shelter with a valid ID. The shelter also handles emergency situations, including animal attacks, vicious animals, animal bites, and injured animals. Customers have shared positive experiences with the shelter, mentioning the adoption of a sweet golden retriever and the care for their feline companions, Anikin and Ahsoka. However, one customer had a negative experience with a veterinarian from a different location, who allegedly euthanized their puppy, Pepsi, without the customer's consent.
Rude phone receptionist. I get you must have a lot of callers and a lot of applications for spayed services but would it kill you to be a bit nice or even try to find out how long will it take for me to find out if my form will be accepted or not. Is that too much to ask.
Love my kitties, We have to take Anikin (lime) to get his vax, but he is still so little, so we are waiting. The "fix" appointments are already made, too. I named them Anikin for the little tom and Ahsoka (McNugget) for the queen. She is a ragdoll tortoiseshell, which i love, and he is a typical domesticated tabby.
