I’m new to the area and was skeptical about many of the vets around town but luckily I came across 8th street. So far I’ve had nothing but great experiences. All 3 of my cats come here and I truly believe they are in good hands. From what I’ve seen, intentions are good, people are kind, and prices are great. I’d recommend! Sometimes they can be a little backed up, so maybe bring a book when you come in, but other than that 5 stars.
Dr. Wade and his staff are amazing! I had a stray kitten on my porch with what could have been a contagious skin condition to my other pets. He prescribed a low-cost solution that required daily applications and a one to two week check ups. After not seeing improvement, he recommended a biopsy that resulted in the cat having skin allergies. We discussed options to test for specific allergens that might trigger her responses however I was informed that the cost to pinpoint her allergy or allergies would be rather high.
