About La Luna Nails & Spa NB ( Under New Management)
La Luna Nails & Spa NB is a well-known nail salon in New Braunfels, praised for its seven-day policy of fixing broken nails without questions. The salon emphasizes transparent policies that aim to protect both the business and its clients. Many customers enjoy coming here regularly for pedicures, finding the salon clean and the staff friendly and attentive. Vincent, in particular, is appreciated for his skill in reshaping, cleaning, filling, and painting nails, which consistently results in satisfied clients. The salon has recently come under new ownership, and some visitors see potential for improvement. However, experiences can vary; some customers have found the atmosphere to be a bit awkward, with a quiet environment and less energetic vibe. While the service quality is generally good, there have been concerns about nail quality, customer service, and communication. An incident during an eyebrow wax raised hygiene questions due to staff not following proper sanitization practices. Despite such issues, the salon has shown a willingness to address customer concerns and improve. Overall, La Luna Nails & Spa NB remains a reputable place that values honesty and customer satisfaction, making it a popular choice for nail care in the area.
I come here frequently for pedicures and enjoy it everytime, i feel its clean. However, the first time I did an eyebrow wax I was disappointed. The lady frequently blew her nose and without gloves touched my face and all the equipment. I asked her to sanitize her hands and she said "I used tissue". No please wash your hands frequently. Who knows what else you do while not washing.
Vincent and the rest of the staff at LaLuna were very friendly and attentive. When I arrived at La Luna, my nails were misshaped and way over due for a fill. Vincent did a fantastic job at reshaping, cleaning, filling and painting my nails. I definitely recommend LaLuna and will return.
This place is under new ownership, I would give it another shot. But this personal experience was just really awkward. The whole place is empty, all the employees are on their phone. It's just a lot of dead energy. The nails came out like nothing special, and the massage I could barely feel.
