    Jarrett Tolbert himself installed our band new kitchen sink, faucet and disposal. There was significant water damage and mold from the faucet leaking because it was not installed correctly.He sent out another crew member to fix the problem... they sprayed the mold and falling apart wood with bleach and placed an untreated, plywood board on top of the wet, moldly base. If you are a slum lord - this is the guy for you, but if you care for your home, either DIY or save money to have quality work done.

    I would NOT recommend using Tolbert's Handyman services based on my horrible experience with Jarrett, the poor workmanship, lack of communication, lack of customer service and above all ETHICS.1. The invoice line items did not match the items we discussed during the estimate walk-through. There were misc. line items where I thought this was a general category for the items we discussed, but it turns out we were told what we discussed was "not on the invoice" so therefore it did NOT get done. As you read, even the things listed on the invoice DID NOT get done. (I'll take this as a lesson learned to make sure EVERYTHING is in WRITING.)2. His crew never showed up on time.3. After being told Cash App was an acceptable form of payment, Jarrett initially deducted HIS Cash App fees from my $750 deposit. (We argued about this matter and a couple of days later he reflected my full deposit on my invoice.)4. Jarrett did not show up for our final walk-through. His foreman, Daniel, showed up45 minutes late. During the walk-through, we allowed Daniel to show and tell us what was done and then we pointed out all of the items that were not done according to the invoice. We were informed the list of items provided to Daniel was different than what was on our invoice. Daniel was told to "lightly repair" items, while my invoice reflected REPLACEMENT. Daniel agreed the paint job was poor and he will fix them. The drywall was not replaced. There were nail holes still in the walls. The window sills were only painted over and not replaced. The wood around the bay window was only painted over and not replaced. - The conversation with Jarrett did not go well when we told him we were not paying for items where the work was not done and where his foreman agreed to each of the items that were not done. - Jarrett eventually had Daniel repair all of the addressed items and they were paid in full. OH, Jarrett added the "receipt" expenses to our invoice AFTER the fact. Note: He did not provide actual receipts. He provided a spreadsheet of the line items "purchased" for our house.5. My invoice reflected four smoke detectors however, only three smoke detectors were replaced at the time of our FINAL walk-through. Daniel stated he only received THREE smoke detectors to replace from Jarrett.6. My invoice reflected replacing six fascia pieces; however our house only had five and only FOUR were replaced.7. We were initially charged $250 for a deep cleaning; however, the stove, refrigerator, counter tops, and more were not cleaned. Daniel, the foreman, even stated those items were not cleaned. - Jarrett reduced the fee to $150 and stated the housekeeper would come back out to clean those items. He confirmed the day and time of her arrival. When messaged him the day of AFTER the scheduled time and he stated, "Not if I gave you a $100 take off on that line item. If you want to pay the full $250 yes she will be back."8. After a week of Jarrett's crew being in our home, we discovered our PS3 was missing along with the control sticks. Note: This was the only company/crew/people we had in our home. We did file a police report.Services: Paint indoors
