Dr. Kaaz and the staff at Western Hills are wonderful! I recently moved to the Conroe area to take care of my aging mother when the health of my 18 year old cat named Alex was declining. It was time to put her to sleep which is the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make. The genuine care, concern and compassion we received was exceptional. I started having second thoughts and Dr. Kaaz patiently walked me through the agonizing decision process. His kind words helped me to do the right thing for Alex. The staff mailed me a beautiful sympathy card that they signed with comforting words.

Dr. Kaaz and his capable, caring staff saved our precious Bostie, Charlie this week. His illness required careful investigative work and skill to understand and resolve. I usually use their branch in Willis but couldn't get an appointment until later in the afternoon. My daughter's little pug mix was between 14 and 16 years old, it was her time to go and we didn't want to let her suffer into the afternoon. The entire staff was so unbelievably caring and sweet. They let my daughter spend as much time as she wanted with her furbaby then explained the whole process as they were doing it. She was able to hold Olive and comfort her as she went to sleep. They allowed her again to spend as much time as she needed to say goodbye. They tech walked my daughter through choosing an urn and explained the turn around time on cremation.
