Wonderfully relaxing, in a charming, historic home. A perfect mini-retreat for a self-pamper afternoon. The Crazy Ahh package was worth every penny. Ask for Ashley. She was an amazing therapist, friendly and professional!

It's now Thursday and I am still enjoying the massage. I got at the crazy water spa on Monday. I did get the name of the masseuse wrong. She was Brandy. Don't know where the Savannah in my review came from. I doubt it. She told me she was from there because she was marvelously quiet while I meditated during my massage. I wish she worked in Azle.

I had Savannah for an hours massage and she was really special. She said she had been doing massage for 10 years. From the start she took my request to be "medium to gentle" and not talk to me so I could meditate, and did exactly that. I would have liked that period. You can't understand the early 19th century of this town unless you stop for a soak or a massage. We went for a great weekend drive from Ft. Worth and found the beautifully renovated Crazy Waters Hotel (not the bigger Baker Hotel, whose renovation seems to have sadly slowed) which is across the promenade that once housed medical practices and lodgings for people who came "to take the waters".... read full review
