“It was a great experience at this eye care facility, DeHaven Eye Care in Mineola, Texas. The doctor was John Deaton, O.D. The eye conditions of which were diagnosed at my appointment were explained thoroughly, as well as the possible procedures that would correct them. The provider and staff were very courteous and professional in assisting me throughout my exam. Each step was explained and the results of each that were being sought by the individual components of the exam machinery being used.<br><br>All this care was still provided, even though the facility's restrooms were out of order due to a plumbing situation. That type of situation could adversely effect staff attitudes, but this was not apparent throughout my visit. I say that to emphasize the professionalism of the staff and provider in a tough situation, albeit a temporary one.<br><br>The one issue was having to wait so long from the date of setting the appointment. However, this becoming a common occurrence in my experiences with setting appointments with medical specialists. Overall, I have found the facility that will conduct all my eye exams and eyeglass prescription needs.“

“Very efficient staff, Dr. Hawari was friendly, informative, and made me very comfortable with the exam. I have brought my kids to him for years. He is always up to date on the latest medical information and innovations in his field. We have always been pleased with the service and care with Dr. Hawari and his staff. The wait time has always been short, the offices are clean and orderly. There is a little coffee and tea station for patients as they wait. The waiting room is peaceful and the optical shop is very nice with great staff that helped me choose a pair of glasses that are in budget and look great.“
