If you tried it before it was taken over and renamed, try it again! I was at 1 stars and now they are 5!!!! Affordable rates, short wait, knowledgeable vet staff that actually listened to my concerns and addressed them, previously they were basically not taken seriously and I ended up with an amputated dogs, but a friend told me to try again so that's what we did! Great experience and happy to have a closer vet again!!! This is a rescued teacup rat terrier and they were so gentle with her.
A pup from our neighborhood had a leg injury which we are assuming he was hit by a vehicle. We rushed him to Rio rico where he was taken in, in a timely manner. The staff was extremely gentle and caring with him, we had no doubts that he was in good hands. Their prices are affordable compared to other vet clinics. I will continue to trust them with my pets and future rescues, definitely recommend.
Excellent Veterinarian. Dr. Valerius is old school and an acquired taste. He has a heart of gold, but he's blunt. So, if you're super sensitive, he's not for you. Sixty years of experience and knowledge; he will not waste your time or your money.
