If you visit this clinic, avoid Dr K***.I was super disappointed in how my mom was treated by him when she went in today. I had referred her to the McKinney location because of my experience being so pleasant and thorough with one of the NP. She had been struggling with getting appointments in a timely manner at one of their other locations that doesn’t have as many providers, so she decided to give them a try. What a disaster.Not only did he leave her in tears, he arbitrarily decided that he would not provide a refill or ever prescribe a medication she has taken for years for depression. This location schedules appointments that I did not make and tell me it’s my annual physical, which I stopped going to them since January or February because they’re bedside manner is horrible their nurse practitioner Alma is one of the rudest nurse practitioners I have ever met and I work in the healthcare field, hiring nurse practitioner and doctors every single day. She does not listen to the patient only wants to prescribe medication without actually running the proper test. I will find primary care elsewhere, with physicians and nurse practitioners that actually care about their patients. I was in the middle of allergy shots when the place got bought out and decided to no longer offer services. I was told that since my vials are already paid for that they were going to move me to another location where they were cramming all the people who had vials still into one day a week. I was also told by the trainer girl last appt that Health Care Associates did not want to honor the rest of anyone treatment plans but that legally they had to.
