Monarch dental (8910 State Hwy 121 Ste 210 McKinney), Worst experience, office staff is rude. overpriced quote no quality work except for crazy quote for all procedures. last Thursday i went to clinic all way clarify the crazy quote for extraction & implant , the off door closed but outside board its put working hours 8 - 4 pm . after ringing bell long one female opened & she very rude & keeps telling only appt based otherwise its closed so the board out doesnt says so instead 8 - 4 pm open. Explanation for the quote not given instead she tells its a rough quote When we ask for quote is supposed to be exact not rough overpriced quote. I called my insurance & they simply said ask them to submit for pre-auth so no surpirses with bills and we know exactly what we have to pay. I do have cigna PPO (in network ), but still my out of packet for one tooth is 5000$ quote.
This was a night mare. I was looking for a dentist close to home. I chose this facility. The first day it was okay. I am having surgery so I need a verification to be cleared. My ex rays were done doctor comes in and tells me I have a infection in my wisdom tooth and she will not clear me until I have this $2000.00 plus wisdom tooth removed. I fill out the form give them my deposit and leave to come back the next day. I was told I didn't need to bring my purse just voided check. Sara the manager for this this traveler surgeon starts telling me with a attitude tells me if I'm not going to follow her instructions we are done. I ask to speak with management only to find out these people use a lot of temps in all areas and the surgeon is a traveling surgeon in many of the locations surrounding areas. Sara starts to push her title around and I repeat what was told to me from the visit on yesterday I only need to bring my voided check. Come to find out most of the staff is from a temporary agency. Technician was a temp. Wow is this really how you treat your customers. Police were called and because she was this Dr. Charles Chilcoat Manager and the two travel together in surrounding facilities after paying for services up front I loose my money and No service. Sara barred me from all there facilities. There were no loud screams, just attitudes on both sides. I have found a great facility that wants my business and I will see the same Doctor and staff each time, it's called building relationships with your doctor and the staff. Sara is a short angry woman who needs a vacation. I would never recommend this place and it was my first and last visit. I've never been treated so unprofessional in my life. McKinney PD was so respectful to both of us. We all laughed it off and went our separate ways. Stay away from Sara and Dr. C . not professional at all. Stay away from this facility. Little Mad woman handling Travel Dr. Patients and is not professional at all.
would give less if i could.....seen doctor after full x rays around mouth and individual xrays...all insurance allowed.....doctor had a treatment plan i agreed with , then took one hour to check me out as they could not print what doctor said......upon calling me to cancel day of in hours of my appointment for over booking they told me i wasfirced to do a derp cleaning or not be seen by doctor.....my insurance pays for preventative AND they knew i had abadexperience at dentist last year for charging me hundred plusfor derp cleaning using lights and trying to scape bone off my tooth AND taking 5 attempts to put a crown on that to this day does not fitfood sticks between it,......my insurance said i DO NOT have to have a derp cleaning nor did thedoctor tell me i HAD tohave when getting exam...bottom line this dentist know a person gets 1 exam every 6 months or you have to pay for it my insurance said fill out a grievence abainst doctor and clinic because they canceled appountment hours before my appount ment because THEY over book AND demanded i do a deep cleaning or would not see me for my new crown that had issues.....i oveferred to notyelp nor do the grievence if they didthe right thing...not charge me for exam but couldfor xrays.........they have not sent x rays and said they were gonna bill insurance....it was there fault and they are getting money for doing no work even if i do grievence insurance says i still have to payfor new doctor exam....remember...insurance says i DO NOT have to have a-deep cleaning....my choice thanks to new doctor who will see me and treat me whether i do a cleaning or not awful cheating place but previous one awful also
