Does not pay their vendors. We provided a media service to them in 2019 and have been dogging them to pay their relatively small bill for over a year. Do not do business with this company.
Advice Local Employee-Emily B reached out to me when I was a YEXT client. Verbal promises she made to me: 1) No contract-ever 2) 10 clients a month for $250 a month 3) Clients may come and go from the 10 spots without penalty. YES-really. 4) Clients brought on over the 10 spots at $250 a month, are an additional $25 per month 5) The $25 is charged at the time I onboard them and if others come off then they are prorated. 6) I can take clients off platform at any time I want and NO, the listings created for the clients will not go away, just any updates for the client won't be pushed out. 7) My billing history backs up what I was told until TODAY. Now Emily B is no longer employed with ADVICE LOCAL- 1) I was charged $324 on top of the extra $25. 2) Terry Coleman tells me I do have a contract and it is under Terms of Service. Where are the terms of service? 3) I am being charged more than the $250, plus the $25 per additional client over the 10 spots. 4) Now I have to pay a set up fee of $25, when I did not before. No notice of this and one assumes that is the additional $25 as paid prior. 5) TODAY Terry says the Clients must stay on platform for 12 months because YOUR agreement with API affiliates is 12 months. Where is this stated? 6) Clients I have deleted from my 10 client list- are NO WHERE to be found, EVEN though Terry Claims they must stay on Platform. Then why wouldn't I keep them as a live customer if I was still paying? This is where the scam comes in. So they must stay on the platform, since your vendors require it. I get billed for them. Yet no where are they on the platform. 7) When I removed clients from platform, I received an email stating they were removed from system. NO MENTION they were still on system for 1 year time. Why can't I access them if I have to still pay? This Appears to be "Bait & Switch." I can't find anything about a contract, or terms of service that I agreed to. No on boarding emails contain those words. Your slide shows do not mention it. Emily told me over and over again, no contract, no 12 month agreement. No emails came alerting me of Change of Terms in Service. No on boarding emails explaining Terms of Service Everything was verbal and my prior billing backs up what I was originally promised. I agreed to give Terry until the end of the business day to come up with a resolution. I cancelled the bank account attached to your service to ensure you can't draft any charges until this is resolved. I understand business evolves as do costs, except sending out a notice would have been called for. I have lost all faith in ADVICE LOCAL.
This digital marketing agency has continued to deliver for our local seo campaign for our art company. I've seen an increase of traffic, brand awareness and commissioned artwork ever since Advice started working with us. We could be happier and really look forward to our continued relationship
