I made the mistake of going in with pictures of what I wanted my hair to look like…guess I’m the only one in the world to do that because the owner said i had unrealistic expectations. The pictures were of myself ?? how unrealistic of me.
Go literally anyone else, had a bad experience with a hairdresser here then played phone tag with the owner for about 2 weeks then finally she asks for me to come in. Come in and i said I wanted to remove split ends while keeping length. Her response was basically: you can't do that without cutting it short. Weird. I've gone to other salons where they've removed the split ends while keeping length. So then I referenced a photo, not a stock photo but a picture of myself by a hairdresser that moved away. Which is the reason I went to another salon, to find another hairdresser. She said I had a specific expectation and to go back to that hairdresser that cut my hair like the photo. First of all, who DOESNT go to the salon with an expectation or stock photo or wanting their hair cut a certain way when they go to a salon? Second she said she's been cutting hair for so long and thinks she can cut it the way I want it BUT I have a very specific expectation. I'm confused, you can do it but don't want me unhappy with your result? Ok. No problem, I appreciate that you were thinking of me but not before asking me to make another trip to the salon, giving me the impression that you were going to rectify a situation by having me sit in your chair and put that cape around me? She gave me my money back in the end but not without arguing with me first and asking me to waste a trip. As a business owner, maybe ask for the reference photo PRIOR to the trip, the arguing with a client. If you have any expectations for your haircut, don't go to this salon. If you want to go in, sit down and say "do what you want"....still go somewhere else.
My family has been going to Bee for around 5 years now! She is absolutely the best hairstylist. She is patient and you can tell she really wants the outcome to be something you love and appreciate. She is very patient and kind to my sister who is special needs! She’s been coloring my hair and my sisters who had virgin hair she has done an amazing job at explaining the steps!
