I was afraid to go to the gym and be stared at, but everyone here just works out and no judgment. Staff is friendly and you go at your own pace. Almost 2 years and I'm still going.

This is a great gym! You just go in, do your business and get out. Its very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. There is a water fountain that fills up your water bottle and if you are a black card member for 27$ a month, you get access to hydro massage chairs and regular massage chairs. One other thing that I love is that every machine has a QR code that shows you a video on how to properly use it. Also, if you you have the Plante Fitness app, it shows you how crowded the gym is on that time of day. Also dont forget that you can only take a guest if you are a black card member!

I love planet fitness. I used to work out at planet fitness in Austin when it was 2 minutes for my house but now I've moved down close to South Padre Island and the closest one to me is 35 mi to Brownsville. There's other gyms around but I get up extra early and drive all the way to Brownsville for planet fitness to get back and start working at 8:30 every morning. Thank you for always having a positive, uplifting and clean environment at an affordable price
