Since transferring from VA Hospital Audie L Murphy San Antonio TX. My experience at the McAllen VA clinic has been a overall change in my medical health treatment, scheduling and specialty referrals. March 2024
I am a traveling Vet and this year a Winter Texan. I have to have an EKG and Blood work done every 6 nonths in March and September. This time March fell on McAllen OPC to perform.
From getting an Appointment to getting the EKG and Blood Test done was painless.
Everyone was extremely friendly.

The facilities are new and look nice. Plenty of parking, but didn't see a golf cart driving around to help vets in need. They have a big information area with friendly ladies that are willing to assist anyone coming in. Didn't see a cafe and they had a couple of venders for hats and veterans stuff, but they don't have a room at this clinic. They just have tables in the hallway. My clinic is in ATX, so the only service I got here was my blood work. You sign in. Wait. Get called for blood. Easy peasy. No long wait on a Wednesday morning at least.
