Alyssa is truly the best with curls! Not only she does the cut in a cyrl-friendly way (and yes, it is different from cutting straight hair), but she teaches you how to take care of it and style it. It is not cheap, but she is the only one in the Valley I will trust with my curls.

I am extremely hesitant to let someone cut my hair because the number of bad cuts you get with curly hair is insane. However, Alyssa has restored my faith in humanity with her expertise in curly hair! Not only did she listen to my concerns and input she put me at ease by only cutting the amount I was comfortable with and explained everything. The cut was truly amazing and the style was everything I hoped my curly hair could be. I highly recommend Alyssa for her skills and attentiveness. I loved her personality too!

Alyssa was born and raised in McAllen, TX. She started her professional career as a hairstylist in 2012 and became a “Texture Specialist” in 2017 after noticing a lack of curly hair specialists and salons in the Rio Grande Valley. Wanting to help everyone embrace their natural texture and color, she decided to start her first independent business with a mission to help everyone who sits in her chair with a unique and custom experience, leaving feeling transformed and educated on their new hairstyle.
