All I can say is WOW! I took a group of future estheticians to tour and learn about SugaringNYC. I can not say enough about Tamesha Pratt and her team. You can tell she is proud of her store. I just had my second sugaring session and I think this will become a regular occurrence. I struggle with PCOS symptoms, including hormonal facial hair, which I usually shave. Four weeks ago, I was getting ready for a wedding that I was maid of honor for, and I didn’t want to shave and risk ingrown hairs or pimples or anything like that. The Sunday before I had my first sugaring session, I had a full face wax at a different salon. The waxer wasn’t able to get all of the hairs, so she derma-planed. She texted me later to say that due to the PCOS, my skin is super sensitive and she should not have waxed me at all. She recommended that I try sugaring because it’s much more gentle on the skin. So I came here a week after, which was the week of the wedding, and I very much enjoyed my experience. Christyn and Tamesha both worked on me to make sure my face smooth. They were extremely professional, kind, and knowledgeable. They helped create the perfect canvas for the makeup. ;) I just left my second appointment, and got to work with Tamesha again. She was very thorough and made sure I was completely happy before I left. I highly recommend and I will definitely book again.
