“Our main power failed at the meter and the Malco team jumped into action. I called them at closing and they called in some favors and found the parts and had us back up fast saving our refrigerated inventory and keeping our small business open. We appreciate the knowledge, professionalism and responsiveness when working with their team. Jimmie has been a hero a few times for us. Once when our power cable was cut by vandalism wanting to steal the wire. Had us back up that day fast as well and taught me what I needed to buy should it happen again. Highly recommend them.“
“After seeing the abundance of positive Yelp reviews, I fully expected this company to come through for me, and they did so with flying colors.Setting up my initial appointment was straightforward using their Yelp site. The owner came on time, masked up, professional, and polite. He listened intently to my requests, asked questions, and offered suggestions as needed. He sent a very reasonable proposal the following day via email. I loved the ability to accept his bid instantly and pay the modest deposit via the email link. I quickly received a follow-up email offering me a choice of appointments. I responded promptly, and they confirmed the date equally quickly.The team arrived today at the appointed time, masked up and with their shoes left outside. They spent a reasonable amount of time carefully laying blankets and taping plastic to the affected areas to protect our house. All of these measures show a high level of respect for their clients. The electricians were installing recessed lighting on our sloped living room ceiling. They explained that the cans needed to be shifted off center of the room's ceiling so that the lights would hit the appropriate areas of the room instead of hitting the wall. I so appreciated his foresight and expertise! They sought my approval on the placement of the lights and on various other matters. Once these decisions were made, the crew efficiently and expertly installed two ceiling fans, seven recessed lights, and remote wall control. Everything went smoothly, and they cleaned up well. It was an enjoyable and stress-free experience from start to finish. I could even pay the balance due with my credit card using the same link that I used to pay the initial deposit.“

“Kyle came out and did my initial quote for a 50 amp generator inlet install. He offered to install a whole home surge protector while they were doing the inlet install with no additional labor cost. Kyle was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the whole process. He got back to me two days later with a very fair quote. After accepting the quote I was quickly put on the schedule. Charles was the electrician who did the actual install. He came to my home, introduced himself, explained what he was going to be doing all while being very polite and professional. I had to leave before he could finish so he quickly took the time time to explain to me how to operate the things he’d be installing while I was there. That small gesture went a long way. He could’ve just let me “figure it out” or left instructions, but he wanted to make sure I knew how to operate it.Overall I was very satisfied with the entire process. Plus it’s a nice peace of mind knowing Edge Electric is licensed and insured. I will definitely use their services again.Service: Electrical fuse changing“

A different electrician came out and assured me all was safe & that these occurrences are just the joys of living in an older home (1956) After continued electrical drama, I reached out to AC Electric on a recommendation. After taking the time to actually listen to my concerns, they felt the issue lay with the utility co. Sure enough, Austin Energy found an issue at the transformer. “USE DUNMAN. Quality work, fair prices, reliable service. Need I say more?It was right after snowvid, I decided to buy a portable generator (Honda EU 7000is) and have it provide power to my house subpanel in the event we lose power we could run most the circuits in our house (anything on the subpanel).I wasn't 100% sure what I needed but Dunman's friendly staff helped me to make the selection and they were happy to purchase the material for me (with a deposit of course).They showed up on time, did the job in one trip (just a couple of hours).Now, when my power goes out I just wheel the genny around back, hook it up and flip some switches and within 10 minutes power to my house is restored (and internet, more importantly lol).I'm running 2 AC's, all the normal lights, all the normal appliances, and a full tank of gas will last 5-8 hours on that load on 5 gallons of gas.“
