In my experience with Mr. Bates, I'd say the negative reviews must be sour grapes. I found him to be fair priced, detailed and to have good communication. I have no complaints about his work at all.

We are a local accounting/consulting firm and we use Jeffrey Bates as our #1 go to attorney for business, corporate, probate, and personal law. He has serviced many of my clients on many levels over the last 5 years and has not let us or our clients down. He is well versed in all subjects but if he is not he will immediately tell the client. He consider's the client 's time and uses his billable time very well. He is very honest and consistent when honestly telling the client and my firm of his decisions. His judgment is impeccable.
