I moved to Longview almost five years ago, and since then, I have been salon hopping, seeking a stylist capable of helping me figure out what I needed and who could help me learn to love my hair. My last haircut ended up crooked and unflattering. I learned later that not only did my previous stylist cut my hair at the incorrect angle, but one side was longer than the other! I knew I wasn't overreacting! When I made my appointment with T.C. at Salon Uptown, I told her upfront that I was unsure of what I needed to fix my current hair situation. I was certain I had set her up for failure, but she surprisingly and optimistically accepted my challenge. She worked with my hair for at least two and half hours, adding highlights, as well as trimming and texturing. Rest assured, the amount of time I spent in the chair was not an indication of her ineptitude, but rather the dire situation in which I found myself. She made all of the previous stylist's errors disappear. It was as though I was watching an artist activity pursuing perfection (think Edward Scissorhands). It was apparent that T.C. puts a lot of care into her actions, ensuring my hair was going to be exactly how I didn't even know I wanted it. She is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, able to achieve a masterpiece from a clueless mess. I witnessed that T.C. does not sacrifice quality and goes out of her way to exceed her client's expectations. T.C. puts her heart and soul into hairstyling, and because of that, I now love my hair...and my hair stylist!! Thank you, T.C.!

Just wanted to give a huge shout out to Haley and Kera for making me and my bridesmaids look amazing for my wedding. Everyone looked amazing and it all just added to the alright perfect day. Thank you so much again!
