The two stars is for Dr. Guillory who did a nice job checking my eye and making sure that my shingles did not affect my cornea.Zero stars to the woman at the checkout. I distinctly heard him tell her to charge me only 47.00. I was charged 147.00 I was told that the $100.00 was a new patient fee.I felt this was unfair because I was not, nor ever will be a patient there. I just went because Longview Ophthalmology Associates was the only place near me that had an available Dr. to check my eye to see if shingles had hurt my cornea. He did not spend 10 minutes with me.I think it's hypocritical of Dr.'s offices to have signs informing the patients that they are expected...read full review
Dr. Walgama is the only doctor who has actually listened when told about a severe anxiety disorder rather than dismissing it as nothing to worry about. His understanding and willingness to take special steps to accommodate for that is practically unheard of for us.
Got to my appt. 10 min early they called me right on in the back,and thats when the games began. They gave me the new girl or someone who did not know what she was doing (reading the manual as she examined me) long story short why did my eye exam take almost 3 hours. NOT COOL
