She worked with me to help me get the cost down by allowing me to do what I could do myself--removing furniture, appliances, baseboards, old flooring and carpet, and hauling the trash to a dump. I had gotten one other bid with the exact same flooring choice and it was more than $1000 dollars higher than Amanda's initial bid and I was given no opportunity to work it down.
