They did an amazing job on my mini braids ! They caught edges I didn’t even know I had and was able to sleep on it that same night with no pain r issues. Very affordable prices! The ladies r patient and kind! Differently recommend 12 out of 10Service: Braids
I am going to list the pros and cons to my overall experience, customer service, and quality of work with my hair. I gave this two star rating for the simple fact that the Senegalese twists came out great. The customer service is very poor/lacking. Pro(s): - quality of hair came out great. I got Senegalese twists. - location is ideal. I live in Malden and gave this place a shot because I was tired of hoping to NYC to get my hair braided even though the price is much more affordable. Con(s): - the owner and staff showed up 45 minutes late. I arrived at 10 (on time) when they were suppose to open and waited 45 minutes for them to arrive. - One lady braided my hair and it took 13 hours for her to complete. She started at 10:45 am and I did not leave there until 11:15 pm. - I repeatedly asked her how much more time it would take to do my hair because I had dinner plans and she kept lying about when and/or how much longer it would take. She was extremely slow and continued to take her time even after I told her that I had other engagements. - the way she did the twists is she started by twisting each strand half way and then would go back to twist the other half. - The owner then left the store at 10:30 pm saying she had out of town guests she needed to attended to knowing I was upset and fully aware I also had engagements of my own. When this happened, I was even more upset and requested the owner return to assist her staff finish my hair otherwise I would not pay full price because of my overall experience for the poor quality customer service I received. Even though the outcome of the Senegalese twists was great; the lack of customer service was very poor to the point where I will never return; which is very unfortunate. What's worse is the owner tried to say I should have told them that I had to be somewhere by a specific time. My response to that was: (1) I do not have to state that information as one would not expect nor think it would it would take 13 hours to complete and my plans were other plans were scheduled at 10pm, that is more than enough time especially if I was on time and they were 45 minutes late. (2) as a new one time customer, when I made the appointment 2 weeks ago, the owner should have said it takes more than 10 hours to do this style, I might of chosen differently (3) I have had Senegalese twists plenty times before; and it has never taken a total of 13 hours to complete!
Reasonable pricing. Nice staff but do good quality work. I would strongly suggest you call ahead even if you made an appointment to make sure they are there. Wait time can be long but as far when they start your hair to finishing your hair they are pretty quick. Good hair braiding spot overall no complaints other than the initial wait time. I will try again.
