“Dr. Murphy and his staff are amazing. He took care of my elderly cats when two other clinics had said to send them to the rainbow. Lillie was 20 1/2 when she and Itsy went to the rainbow together. When Lillie was 3 and I was taking care of my mom she would try to get out to play with ferals in the neighborhood. She would trip my mom so my brother and his wife gave me Lillie's half sister Itsy. I was living with my mom taking care of her and when she passed away they mourned tremendously. They stopped eating and drinking water. I literally had a vet tell me though bloodwork was normal I should "do the right thing". Fast forward a few years struggling to keep them healthy I met Dr. Murphy at an emergency clinic he started. He promised after their brother Tank had a stroke at 11 he would let me know when it was time. January 14th, 2022 Lillie and Itsy together met my mom, Tank by the bridge. I am a foster failure to Fluffy now McConaughey who is the first cat I've ever known not to hiss or become aggressive during visits or boarding. He has a kind, trustworthy demeanor and literally the best vet I've known and I had another kitty Jezzy who passed at 22 back when we didn't have the technology we have today. I understand a long story but as an Austinite for 53 years I 100% know Sunshine McCoughney is in the best hands when I travel or treatment. I wish I could rate above a FIVE they would receive a TEN!. High-quality, compassionate, thorough and forward thinking. He provides options based on your needs.“
“I have a husky, so you know separation anxiety is a big thing for us, and it has been so hard finding a place to take my baby where he won't just sit alone in a crate/kennel all day. Enter Hounds Town. Yesterday was our first day: my boy got a full day of daycare, where he was able to socialize and play with six other dogs around his size. He also got a bath (with a blow-dry and the cutest branded bandana ever, which is perfect for my obsessive dog-mom scrapbook). While I did qualify for their lovely first-visit-free promo this time around, even if I hadn't the price for both of those would have STILL been cheaper than what I usually pay for just his bath. Overall, prices are extremely reasonable and competitive with other animal care facilities in the greater Austin area, but honestly I've tried quite a few places and it just feels like you get *more* at Hounds Town. The staff clearly love animals, and their jobs. Everyone is so friendly. I really can't understate the amazing impression I've gotten of this establishment, just from the first day! My boy came back to me relaxed and happy, with no signs of stress or anxiety. They've definitely earned a regular customer in us.“
“I will take my dogs to Dr. Daigle and team as long as he is practicing. He’s taken care of both my pugs since they were puppies. I recently lost one at the age of 15 and the kindness and empathy they showed us during that time was just another example of what a caring vet he is and his staff.“
“New Hope has always provided an exceptional level of service to us and our many dogs. Our 14.5 yr old dachshund is in their care right now and we are so grateful to the front desk staff, vet techs, and vets who are providing her with such great care.“
“I don't take my dogs anywhere else. They come home happy and worn out. They love going to "Dog Camp"!“
“Sadly I am removing a star because I just called to get my two new puppies spayed and they told me they can't give me any inclination on the cost of a spay and microchip. They said I need to pay for a visit to establish them as new patients for $65 each and THEN they will tell me how much a spay and microchip would cost since "Each animal is different". Thats a bunch of B.S. pardon my French but it should be based off animal weight and age and they should be able to give an idea! I called several other places that told me their prices and in the end I'm going to have to find some kind of low cost clinic as I'm out of work. Really Blockhouse, get it together!“
“Very easy to book and we did the deshedding grooming on my large dog. So far, we have seen way less hair in our house and he smells amazing! Great customer service!“

“The challenge is finding a professional that you and your pet can trust and who is exceptional at what they do. Here's what's important to know, Lisa is an enthusiastic considerate groomer. She cares about your companion and you. her attention to details coupled with her "dog whispering" ability to gain your dogs trust for a more calming and complete grooming experience. Look at these two smiling after a grooming session. I now have him groomed every two weeks and only with Lisa. This kind of professionalism and customer service is rare these days. You know where this is headed right? We highly recommend Lisa at Pet Paradise for your pet's grooming“
