“First experience owning a dog and brought her here after my neighborhood had recommended this place. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Pricing seems to be fair. The building is very clean and nice inside.“
“Very professional and friendly and patient with my animal affordable came from across town of San Antonio because reviews and reviews dont lie. Will be back if needed to.“
“I wanted to leave a comment on the Pet Clinic I've been with my past dog Benjamin on in July 19,2019 but was seen by Dr. Leland from age 2 and w my other pet Shelly since age 2-3 tell present in 2024 and have been very happy with his current and former staff and Dr. Leland and all his services given to my parents .Thank you and continue with your great work and services!!“
“I took one of my cats here to get spayed and the cost was good enough to actually afford and they treated my cat with excellent care.“
“Last week I wrote an angry review and now that I've calmed down I want to update my review. ARAH is really a good group of people. That last review was more of frustration, and not understanding how things are done here. Very different from back in Illinois. So I apologized and hopefully we all can move forward. I will continue to bring my furry babies here where I know they have the best care.“
“I've been meaning to write this review for a while...but this vet saved my cats life. We found her by a dumpster, and took her home. Her first week she showed signs she was sick. She was a kitten and not running around. I'd leave for work and she would be in the same place a left her when I got back just waking up. After a few days she didn't want to eat or dink water. My bf took her to a different vet clinic and they gave us a price of $1200 to keep her over night and in there words "if we wanted to give her a fighting chance" angry up set, and depressed me and my bf made calls to a lot of vet places. We were recommended to Ace Veterinary Clinic my a separate vet clinic we had called (they had no opening appointments and suggested we call ace) made the call and had a good gut feeling. We took her in and they checked her temperature and a few other things while asking us questions about her condition. They gave her a shot, and the cat equivalent to and I've bag (I don't know the correct terminology, but it was injections liquids and we had to be extra careful with handling her) and some take home antibiotics. The next few days it was a day and night difference. She was eating again, and moving around. She was in the antibiotics for 2 weeks and completely recovered. Where she was bed ridden, and not eating; after 2 weeks she was now stealing unattended food, and scaling our window blinds. This vet clinic saved my cats life, while also being adorable. Thank you. And if you're looking for a vet you can trust, it's this one.“
“The staff is very friendly. The vet was wonderful with my dog. You can text with the receptionist instead of having to call in and deal with hold times.“
“Been taking my bird dog and cat here for years. Great vet. Dr.Tomasini is always willing to take the time to explain things. They have always leveled with me, giving us all options available letting us know what we r looking at money wise and most importantly quality of life wise.“
“Been going to Dr. Wendel for a few hours now. Would absolutely recommend this clinic for veterinary knowledge, care, and pricing!“
“This has been my veterinarian since I moved to the area in 2020. The staff is amazing, and my animals love it! They call to check on my fur babies after they have procedures and new medication dosages. This will be our place as long as we are here!!!“
“Dr Curtis took time to explain every detail of the process to get Luna at the weight she needs to be and provided suggestions for food!“
“Dr Reeder was excellent in her professionalism and delivered high quality compassionate care: able to provide flea and tick management for my elderly male Yorkie, Theo. Vet assistant Jenna, provided skilled service to Theo; soothing Theo with utmost care when Theo needed it most during the initial phase of the vet visit. Theo was very uncomfortable from fleas and was irritable from the heat from the hot day and from the trip to the vet. Theo's energy was mostly exerted from constant scratching himself from fleas; making him dehydrate and too tired to adequately drink water. I knew it was really important to manage his fleas since it was majorly affecting his quality of life. Jenna documented responses to relevant questions about Theo's issues and Jenna demonstrated a high skill set towards handling and comforting animals. Dr Reeder asked questions about Theo's daily pattern for hydration and nutritional needs. Dr Reeder detailed her assessment results as dehydration and a recommendation for a senior blood work panel. Dr Reeder added reasons for legal vaccination responsibilities for pets. After careful review of past reactions to medical issues, Dr Reeder listened to concerns and accounts of Theo's response to treatments in the past. Dr Reeder's care for Theo involved several factors that come with experience as a professional Veterinarian and ability to consider and include important information from care givers. Theo will not allow me to cut his nails at home. Theo had to be muzzled for a nail trim but to my amazement, Jenna cut Theo's nails and was gentle and reassuring towards him. Theo did not show signs of agitation when he was brought back to me. After Dr Reeder's careful expertise in consideration of Theo's care for best quality of life, My Theo received his Nexgard chewable prescription for a 4 lb Yorkie. Obtaining his medication with an external prescription is a different matter but finally obtained it at Walmart. I brought Theo home and gave him a bath, medicated him with Nexgard chewable and he was able to sleep well finally without constant scratching. I paid 35 dollars for the nail trimming and 80 dollars for the pet examination. I received a 6 month prescription with another refill. I was very happy with the care provided to my Theo.“
“Great vet! I would highly recommend taking your pets to see James Gates. He and his staff are wonderful as very friendly! My dog Lola loves her vet!!“
“Best service and value for your pets. I inherited a pup last fall and called her original vet clinic about vaccines and prices. They were outrageous. Called Pets First and my quote and visit was $130 less. Very caring and understanding of my pets needs. All my fur babies are Pets First clients.“
“I took my husky mix I found 2 months ago to this vet today for the first time. He needed a blood draw and the dr and 3 techs helped muzzle him, get him on the table, and quickly got his blood. He was growling and nervous when we got there and when they were done they were all petting him, talking to him, and giving him treats. I was so impressed with their knowledge, patience and kindness. I am so glad my friend referred me here!“

“Brought my dog here the other day for her yearly checkup and rabies shot. My fiance made an appointment for 10 AM. We pulled in a couple of minutes before 10. I took the dog for a walk on the grass while my fiance checked us in. When I went in, they were already calling us into the exam room. This place is good about keeping on schedule. They are very good with the animals that are brought to them. My dog was dropped off at the Humane Society after she had been with the same family all her life. I think this made her nervous about leaving with the vet, but they were very kind to here. While we were there for her checkup, we asked them to trim her nails. Her nails were starting to look like they belonged in Nightmare on Elm Street. The appointment was very quick. To reward our dog for being good, we went to Dutch Brothers and got her a Pup Cup. I recommend this place for how well they stay on schedule and how well they treat the animals“
“So friendly! Front office staff (Heather and Heidi) are so nice. Prompt to answer the phone and answer all my questions. Vet tech Megan was great with my semi-shy dog. We recently switched from another vet that had been going crazy on price increases and staff turnover for the last few years. The prices here are much more affordable. So glad we found this vet!“
“Very caring and attentive staff. The Veteranerian is so knowledgeable and sharing to get the best treatment for your pet. Open Saturdays!“
“I have not had any of the "bad" experiences that has been reported from previous yelpers. My experience has been excellent with no complaints. Quorra has been going there since she was born and is now 2 years old. She goes there to see her groomer, Lorenzo, once every few months and the prices are reasonably and she just ADORES him. I feel assured when my Quorra is left there. Now, they do have a leash policy and that is the safety for the staff and the parents and their pets. On the wall, the to the right from teh entrance, they do have leashes in case you did not notice. For lateness, I had been late once ( about 5-10 minutes) and the front desk was understanding and were not rude at all. About the vet, Dr. Sharp is informative, to the point, cut and dry but very informative about your breed, how to care and what to look out for. That is his nature. He is not going to hold you hand type of vet. He is guiding you with knowledge of your breed. Now, as for the police being called on some of the yelpers, it makes me question the behaviors of the customers (bad mood, chip on shoulder, judging the appearance of the staff) harassing the staff. All the times I have went in, I have not obsereved "bad behavior/rude" from the front desk or staff. The front desk staff had always been friendly. I would give 100 stars if I could.“
“I cannot thank Marbach Road Hospital enough for helping me care for a stray cat that had a huge abscess that turned into an open wound. First, they were very accommodating with my schedule since trapping a stray cat isn't an easy feat. They were also very kind and you can tell that although small, the staff is cohesive and works as a team or even a family. I am very thankful to Dr. Martin for being so helpful and kind. I didn't feel rushed like I do in other vet clinics. I was told that because it's a small clinic, they only take new patients on certain days. So make sure to not get offended when they aren't able to accommodate you as they're not in it for the money but to help pets and their people.“
“My elderly precious little fur baby is turning 14 in April. Has cataracts, and loss of his hearing. Inspite of this he is always very comfortable, visiting this wonderfully caring veterinarian and staff. I have brought my pets here ever since they opened and will continue to bring Mickey here and any future pets I will be blessed to have in my life.“
“Always so kind to my sweet dachshund ever since he was a puppy! Always answered all my questions and concerns and treated my pup with lots of love and care! Fully recommend not only is it affordable but the staff is so kind and welcoming!“
“First time coming here and loved the service and the people!! Our vet tech Mariah took great care of our Skye and explained everything to us perfectly! I'm very happy that ACE Vet recommended them to us! They are the first clinic to give us honest results and accurate information! I would for sure recommend this clinic to anyone looking for affordable and fast vet care!“
“Everyone here is so wonderful! My dog is all wags and wiggles when we go for a visit, and they know him by name. Thank you for all your hard work!!“
