At this time I will say I recommend STP but am basically referring to service. They do great job keeping pool in great condition, are very responsive to issues when they arise and personnel is professional. However, in the remodeling/construction side I will add there is a lot to be desired. I will consider the issue I write on open ended and will leave an updated recommendation at later date pending the situation at hand. Going back three years I have been asking politely and not aggressively to have my coping replaced. The original is in need of replacement. So initially the guy in the field would say I'll get back to you. Never once did. Called several times and left messages with no returns. Emailed Kelly (owner) a few times. Eventually got a reply. He told me the linear foot cost, etc. but never costed out job saying they were principally cranking out pools and not doing repairs. I simply said fine; when you catch up let me know. Neighbors then had brand new pool built by them on recommendation from me!! Surely they could do the 'small job' on my pool. Nope. This goes on and on so I will say Randy Miranda did come and measure the job after building the pool next door, told me what they could do in my situation and said he would talk to Kelly. Great! But never hears from Kelly. Started emailing him again. Never a reply. Called and asked to speak to Kelly. Lady asked if I had already spoken to him. I said by email. She then let me talk to him. Had nice conversation. He said he didn't act because Randy told him the job didn't look real necessary but since I wanted it done he would speak to Randy. Great!! Again!! But no one contacted me. So I contacted Randy. He said he just needed work order from Kelly. So I started emailing Kelly. I have a file full of them. Finally replied and said they are short man power and just can't do it now. Ok BUT they are doing work and they are soliciting work on this very Facebook page. So I'll just say I'll update later with a positive or negative review depending how this turns out. Willing to give benefit of doubt for some reason still. But service side is very good.
