I’ve taken my dog Toby to Dogs Day Away for the past few years and have always felt completely at ease boarding him there. The team clearly loves dogs, and Toby always gets to enjoy the spacious yards and fields during his stay. I really appreciate the updates they provide — it’s nice to hear how he played and what he was up to while I was away.
What sets Dogs Day Away apart is exclusive 1:1 playtime which can be a little hard to find in Austin, where many places require group play. Their pricing is among the most reasonable I’ve seen in the area, and it’s also reassuring to know that the owner lives on-site in case of an emergency.
This place is great for boarding your dog(s). We've been sending our dachshund here for boarding for 2 years now and he loves it. They take great care of him and prices are reasonable compared to others.

Dogs day away has had our pup a few times now, and they always do an excellent job. Much better than a traditional kennel, plenty of exercise, space, toys, great staff, and the dog loves it. They always make pick up/drop off a breeze. Any time we need to utilize a boarding service this is our go to place. Thank you!
