Went here and got my passion twists done by Joy the day before Mother's Day and was charged $180. Since their twists start at $160 WITH hair included, I was expecting to be charged that price since I provided my own hair after being told that they didn't carry the hair that I needed, I found out that they actually did carry it after I sat down in her chair. So I pretty much bought my own hair for nothing. Another thing I didn't like was how she kept stopping to eat and talk while doing my hair. I don't know about other people, but I prefer to get in and get out, especially since I had already been sitting in her shop for 2 hours waiting to get my hair done. I understand stylists get hungry while doing hair, but I feel like she should've eaten before starting on my hair, it's just more professional and sanitary in my opinion. Overall, she does good work and I really liked my hair, but I doubt I'll go back anytime soon. Mainly because it hasn't even been a whole month and my hair is already frizzy and some of my twists are unraveling even with me tying it up and wearing a bonnet every night at bedtime, I feel like this is because she was too distracted to do my hair to the best of her ability.

I love going to Joy's I've been there 3 times in a row . They took my small box braids down for a small fee. I really like that if other stylist are available, they join in and help complete the job. And what I love the most is that they don't use edge control. Small box braids only takes them around 2 1/2hrs . It's worth the price in my opinion. And I have never made an appointment. I just walked in, and was always taken care of. Ty Joy..

I got cornrows with extensions and it was pretty pricey. But she did a good job. The lady who did my braids was nice and did what I asked for. Though I came another day with a friend and there was another lady and she had an attitude and definitely looked like she didn't wanna be here. I'm just gonna be honest, customer service here ain't it. If you gonna look mad at your work then why are you gonna work here in the first place.
