I was coming on here to write my review and was shocked when I saw a recent one about a high energy dog. My experience with Dogs Rule Resort was nothing short of perfect, so when I read a recent review of a customer with a very very similar situation as me (spooky even) I was floored that they had the audacity to leave such a nasty review. Then it occurred to me to read all of the negative reviews with a grain of salt, and remember that this is just one side of the story. I have a high energy dog and he was boarded for 5 days. We have been coming here for years, and they have always taken great care of our senior dog. Most recently, our dog had a health emergency during her stay. I was 12 hours away and had to send someone to pick her up. They kept in touch with me, even going as far as texting me with the owner and sent pictures of the issue my pup was having. They offered to take our pup to urgent care, but we had someone on their way. I will forever be grateful for the care they gave our girl. She was given just a week or two left to live, but because of Dog’s Rule I am able to spend a little bit of time with her before she passes.
We were recommended Dog Rule from someone at the local dog park. Luckily we were able to make reservations for a holiday weekend. Front desk staff was very helpful with answering our questions and concerns. They were very flexible and accommodating with the drop off and pick up process. We watched our dogs on the cams play with each other and the other dogs while we were away. Staff seemed very attentive and loving to dogs on cam. We also noticed that all dogs poops were cleaned up promptly. The last time we boarded our dogs at another place they smelled like urine upon pick up. We picked our dogs up at Dogs Rule on short notice/early and they smelled normal. The staff... read full review
