The urgent care center is open five days a week and offers convenient hours of operation. The services provided include COVID-19 testing, on-site radiology (Digital X rays), foreign body removal, laceration repair, care for minor injuries and fractures, splinting, IV therapy, and EKGs. Patients can be seen for minor illnesses and workers' compensation, as well as receive physicals and shots. The center can also provide a temporary role as a primary care physician when needed. Patients have reported a great experience at Katy Gaston Urgent Care. The facility is clean and well-decorated, with a friendly and professional staff. Patients have been impressed by the short wait times and the thorough check-ups performed by the doctors. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by front desk , she was so nice and made me feel comfortable . After being taken back the nurse took my vitals and was very nice to me too . They are all professional and the environment is very clean . This is my first time here and I’m happy I stopped here on the way home .
Great experience. I have been battling an illness for weeks and needed to see a doctor. I looked at many urgent care centers around me and not one of them was staffed with doctors, only PA's or nurse practitioners. No disrespect to PAs and NPs, but I did not have a simple, straightforward illness going on and wanted to speak with a doctor. I finally found Katy Gaston Urgent Care and was happy to see that it is staffed by doctors. I went in as a walk-in and was seen right away after filling out paperwork.
