The products she uses are high quality- the glue doesn’t burn my eyes, and the lashes are so light I can’t even feel them. They stay on longer than others and fall out in a natural pattern. Located in the Tuscan Village salon shops Atascocita, the location is convenient, clean and this gem may be tiny but it's big on hospitality and you are always greeted with a smile. The salons in tuscan village are all private and privately owned and operated. As a male, i wanted to venture out from the typical chop shops that are franchise owned and have less than experienced stylists cutting my hair. I ventured out of the comfort zone and crowded waiting rooms of a typical barber shop and hair salon to truly find a better experience. As a male patron, i loved the private shops inside tuscan village. A sneak peek into the life and world of women and how and where they go to reward, spoil and pamper themselves. 'Hair by Michelle' is owned by michelle favors, a former owner of multiple salons who is the answer to those bad hair days. During the summer of 2012, i attended this salon twice and both times i was happy not only with my cut but the attention i received and the amount of time. As a male patron one of my concerns is the amount of time that is spent because there are too many stylists who shouldn't be stylists in the first place not spending enough time on a head and making the person feel comfortable and giving them the time they deserve. The facilities are a former 'Albertson's' grocery store during the 1990's that was remodeled and re-opened as Tuscan Village Shops which (off the top of my head) probably has 30 independent salons and vendors inside the building. The concept, which i thought was cool was upscale compared to the traditional hair studios and cookie cutter franchises that we all grew up with. Now, since i have found this hidden gem of a salon, my task today is go get my haircut by a regular sports clips and weigh today's experience against these two experiences i have had at 'Hair by Michelle'. Appt is necessary as this is not a walk-in type of place. Since i grew up in Atascocita and have more than half of my friend base still centrally located in and around Atascocita, Humble and Kingwood, i would highly recommend 'Hair by Michelle' to any and all of my friends and family who are in and around the area.“

“If I could give 10 stars I would. From coming out of a horrible service situation at Zara Brow Bar in Atascocita, to Poojas was like a night an day experience. When I tell you Asma(Pooja’s) was attentive, kind and knowledgeable, Im not kidding. I tipped five dollars just for her service alone!

Her skills were on ?. I mean first time around assessing my eyebrows and she was able to arch and thread to my liking. 10-10 recommend. Im serious yall. Ive been to so many other threading places that take forever to do your eyebrows and they still mess up. Give this woman a raise!!“
